Polished lecture notes for a talk I gave in November 2010 in Gloucestershire UK. My intention was to introduce the lay person to the emerging discipline of using potentised preparations on plants. This discipline is about 100 years old and is showing signs of standing up in the world. It has practical ecological implications and it has epistemological implications. If it can become genuinely robust, however such endeavours may look once they reach maturity, there is something pivotal for the scientist, the agriculturalist, the philosopher and the lay person.
