First introductory meeting (January 13, 2001): ” In this series of meetings we will consider ecological agriculture from a new angle. Both biodynamic and modern organic farming spring from a series of 8 lectures that Rudolf Steiner gave in 1924 at Koberwitz, in Count Keyserlingk’s mansion. This lecture series was published as: ‘Spiritual-Scientific Foundations for the Renewal of Agriculture’, but is widely known as the ‘Agriculture Course’. It contains directions that are essential for those who want to practice agriculture in harmony with the laws of the Earth and the cosmos.

Meeting 1- Introduction: the three initial questions of the Koberwitz course, the parallel structure of ‘Esoteric Science’ and the ‘Agriculture Course’. Continued fragmentation or new synthesis.
Meeting 2 – Lecture 1 to paragraph 24: 2-fold Zarathustran agriculture. Koberwitz’s location. The law of competence. From the general to the particular. Analysis and synthesis. Instinct. The professors’ wives, sunspots and influenza. Earthly activity as reflection of the cosmos. Silica and calcium. 7 limestones.
Meeting 3 – Lecture 1, paragraph 24 to end: Light and Darkness. Polarity of the plant – vigour and quality. Polarity in the solar system. Primary and secondary plantary influences.
